LARA JEREMKO
Chief Executive Officer




Lara Jeremko is a senior strategist with over 20 years experience in impact investment & philanthropy strategy, nstitutional investment management and social entrepreneurship. As Founder & CEO of Beyond Ventures, Lara advises investment and philanthropy portfolios for Pivotal Ventures, a Melinda French Gates company advancing social progress in the United States. Previously, Lara designed and led the XR Education Prize Challenge, an innovation competition funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to support the next generation of immersive education applications. 

Previously, Lara was an institutional investment officer managing a $1.5 billion venture capital and growth equity fund portfolio at UTIMCO, the investment firm overseeing $35 billion of University of Texas System endowment assets. She was also a co-founder of re:3D Inc., an industrial 3D printing manufacturing and R&D company focused on the circular economy. Lara was also a private equity analyst at Credit Suisse in New York, NY. Lara graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. from Syracuse University.

When she’s not making big ideas become big realities, you’ll find Lara cultivating her passions for fashion design, Argentine tango, and classical piano.




MONIQUE VILLA CAPRA
Senior Investment Advisor





Monique Villa Capra is a venture capitalist and ecosystem builder based in Nashville, TN. She joined Beyond Ventures as a Senior Investment Advisor in 2023. In addition to her work with Beyond Ventures, she is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with Mucker Capital and Co-Founder of Build In SE.

Monique served as Launch Tennessee's first Chief Investment Officer leading InvestTN, a new $70 million equity fund as part of the U.S. Department of the Treasury's $10 billion SSBCI program. Before LaunchTN, she was an early-stage investor with Mucker Capital, a venture capital fund investing in Seed and Series A stage companies outside Silicon Valley. Before Mucker, she held operating roles for Core Innovation Capital, a fintech-focused fund based in LA and San Francisco, and Velos Partners, based in LA and Singapore. Her career began in 2008 at TOMS supporting grassroots marketing and sales initiatives. 

An interdisciplinarian, she studied film and visual media at UC Irvine and spent 4 years volunteering for iconic public radio station KCRW. She frequents film screenings and farmers' markets, and regularly hosts events to build community and impact both locally and nationally. 


JUN HA
Creative Consultant


Jun Ha is a graphic designer and artist from Los Angeles, California. After graduating from ArtCenter College of Design in 2021 with a BFA in Illustration, they worked with LA Department of Health Services’ Housing for Health as a DesignMatter Fellow. They are now working as a graphic design consultant/specialist to Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority and Beyond Ventures. 

In addition to their design work, they are co-founder and instructor at RISO Studio Arts, a creative technology distributor & dealership that advocates for & offers innovative silkscreen printing solutions and educational resources to K-12/college art programs, small businesses, makerspaces and individual artists/crafters.
